Joe Quesada and Dan Buckley first announced the third season of their Avengers animated series with the title called Avengers: Ultron Revolution coming out in 2016. For the new season, the guys at Marvel shared that Ultron would be the main villain in the series as the A.I. seeks revenge on the team after his apparent death. The Avengers will also face off against other villains such as Baron Zemo, Kang the Counqueror, and the Masters of Evil. There would also be some new members of the team joining the battle like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and the Inhumans. Some miniseries plotlines will develop with these characters as the season progresses, which will ultimately set up the Civil Wars storyline.

Another big announcement coming from the panel was the fourth season of Ultimate Spider-Man called Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. Sinister Six. After the success of Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors, the new season will see the return of several Spider-Men like Miles Morales, Spider-Girl, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham, Spyder-Knight, and the first series appearance of Scarlet Spider. The fourth season is set to premiere on 2016. Fans were treated with a clip of the October 10th episode of Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors giving us a sneak peak at part two of the four-part Contest of Champions. The clip showed the web slinger competing in the third game set up by the Grandmaster where he partners up with Power Man, Black Widow, and Skaar in a game of last team standing against Doctor Octopus, Absorbing Man, and Zzzax.

The next big news to come out of Marvel Animation was the announcement of the animated film Marvel Superhero Adventures: Frost Fight! The new film would be a holiday special coming out in December with the Avengers attempting to stop Loki and Ymir from getting Santa’s power. Joining the Avengers are Groot and Rocket Raccoon as they also try to stop them. Quesada revealed that Santa would carry a secret that would be revealed in the plot and showed his design to fans.

One of the other biggest news to come out of the panel was the second season renewal for Guardians of the Galaxy. The smash hit series will also have a soundtrack called Cosmic Mix Vol. 1 featuring music from the show which launches on October 16. After some technical difficulties, fans were given a chance to see this week’s episode of Guardians of the Galaxy.

The panel then ended with some questions from fans. Quesada and Buckley were asked about whether Marvel would announce any more animated series or feature films with the duo responding that there would be more stuff coming soon. Quesada and Buckley also addressed a fan that there would be no spin-off series relating to the Secret Wars comic. Regarding other characters showing up, the two Marvel execs said that there was a good chance for Spider-Gwen to appear in animated form as well as other characters like Miss Marvel and Vision.
