Marvel Possibly Looking to Develop a TV Series Based on Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel TV Series May Be in the Cards for Marvel. We will soon be getting a big screen version of Captain Marvel soon, but how about her protégé? Well, Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb thinks that there’s room for Ms. Marvel to be a part of the MCU in the small screen one day.

With Marvel changing the superhero line-up in their comics catalog, one of the characters included is Kamala Khan, who is going by the mantle Ms. Marvel. The shape-shifting hero has become a fan-favorite since her inception back in 2013, but with Captain Marvel getting her own film in the next few years, having a character from Captain Marvel’s world get a live-action TV series would be the least expected move from the Marvel.

However, having a Muslim Pakistani-American superhero introduced in the MCU would be a bold move, especially in these times that we face now. Talking about this topic, Jeph Loeb spoke with E! Online regarding what Marvel may do with the character. “Look, that’s a character that has tremendous popularity and when that happens you know that I’m always looking around to see what we can do,” the head of television said. “We love the character, and one never knows.”

Well it may not be a confirmation, but knowing that Marvel is open to having Ms. Marvel on screens someday will keep fans hopeful that it would likely happen one day. What do you guys think? Should Ms. Marvel have her own TV series down the line?
