Mary Magdalene Trailer

Mary Magdalene‘s plot synopsis: “Mary Magdalene is an authentic and humanistic portrait of one of the most enigmatic and misunderstood spiritual figures in history. The biblical biopic tells the story of Mary (Rooney Mara), a young woman in search of a new way of living. Constricted by the hierarchies of the day, Mary defies her traditional family to join a new social movement led by the charismatic Jesus of Nazareth (Joaquin Phoenix). She soon finds a place for herself within the movement and at the heart of a journey that will lead to Jerusalem.

Paddington 2‘s plot synopsis: “Paddington 2 finds Paddington happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s hundredth birthday, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. Paul King’s Paddington 2 stars Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, and Julie Waters, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Hugh Grant, Brendan Gleeson, Ben Whishaw, and Imelda Staunton.

Paddington 2 will be released into U.S. theaters through Warner Bros. Pictures on January 12, 2018.

All the Money in the World Trailer 2

All the Money in the World‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by John Pearson, “All the Money in the World follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.”

Ridley Scott‘s All the Money in the World stars Christopher Plummer, Charlie Plummer, and Mark Wahlberg.

All the Money in the World  will be released into U.S. theaters through TriStar Pictures and Imperative Entertainment on December 22, 2017.

Journeyman Trailer

Journeyman‘s plot synopsis: “Journeyman tells the story of middleweight boxing champion Matty Burton (Paddy Considine). After winning a punishing title defense on points, Matty collapses at home. The journey towards regaining his speech, movement and memory will be the toughest fight he’ll ever face, and the prize could not be greater, for his relationship with his wife Emma (Jodie Whittaker) and baby daughter Mia are on the line… Journeyman is a powerful and beautiful story about loss and, ultimately, triumph. It’s about our identity, and how in life we sometimes have to dig deep into our soul to discover who we really are.”

Paddy Considine‘s Journeyman stars Paddy Considine, Jodie Whittaker, Anthony Welsh, Tony Pitts, and Paul Popplewell.

Journeyman will be released in the U.K. in February 16, 2018. Journeyman has no U.S. theater release date yet.

Dark River Trailer

Dark River‘s plot synopsis: based on the novel by Rose Tremain, “Following the death of her father, Alice (Ruth Wilson) returns home to Yorkshire for the first time in 15 years, to claim the tenancy of the family farm she believes is rightfully hers. Once there she encounters her older brother Joe (Mark Stanley) a man she barely recognizes, worn down by years of struggling to keep the farm going whilst caring for their sick father. Joe is thrown by Alice’s sudden arrival, angered by her claim and finds her presence increasingly impossible to deal with. Battling to regain control in a fraught and fragile situation, Alice must confront traumatic memories and family betrayals to find a way to restore the farm and salvage the bond with her brother before both are irrevocably lost.”

Clio Barnard‘s Dark River stars Ruth Wilson, Mark Stanley, Sean Bean, and Joe Dempsie.

Dark River will be released in U.K. theaters on February 23, 2018. Dark River has no U.S. theater release date yet.
