The film centers on five misfit teens who are secretly kept in a detention facility after developing superhuman abilities. They must band together to escape their imprisonment while forming a mutant team which consists of five members: Magik, a Russian sorceress (played by Taylor-Joy); Wolfsbane, a Scottish she-wolf (Williams); Cannonball, a propelling-through-the-air Kentuckian (Heaton); Sunspot, a solar-energy-powered Brazilian (Zaga) and Mirage, a Native American illusionist (Hunt).

Josh Boone‘s The New Mutants (2018) stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Maisie Williams, Blu Hunt, Henry Zaga, and Alice Braga.

The New Mutants will be released in U.S. theaters through 20th Century Fox on April 13, 2018.

Sweet Virginia Trailer

Sweet Virginia‘s plot synopsis: “A mysterious stranger sends shockwaves through a close-knit community in this nerve-jangling slice of raw suspense. In the wake of a triple murder that leaves the residents of a remote Alaskan outpost on edge, tightly wound drifter Elwood (Christopher Abbott) checks into a motel run by Sam (Jon Bernthal), a former rodeo champion whose imposing physical presence conceals a troubled soul. Bound together by their outsider status, the two men strike up an uneasy friendship — a dangerous association that will set off a new wave of violence and unleash Sam’s darkest demons. Sweet Virginia will be released in U.S. theaters and on V.O.D. through IFC Films on November 17, 2017.

All I See Is You Trailer 2

All I See Is You‘s plot synopsis: “Gina (Blake Lively) and husband James (Jason Clarke) have an almost perfect marriage. After being blinded as a child in a nearly fatal car crash that claimed her parent’s lives, Gina depends on James to be her eyes — a dependence that appears to solidify their passionate relationship. She sees her world in her own vivid imagination with help from James’ descriptions. Despite her disability, the two enjoy a colorful existence in Bangkok, Thailand where James works in insurance and Gina explores life in a foreign country. It seems the only real hardship this loving couple faces is difficulty conceiving a child but when Gina is given the opportunity to have a corneal transplant and regains her vision, their life and relationship are upended. Gina now sees the world with a new sense of wonder and independence which James finds threatening. Thoroughbreds‘ plot synopsis: “Childhood friends Lily and Amanda reconnect in suburban Connecticut after years of growing apart. Lily has turned into a polished, upper-class teenager, with a fancy boarding school on her transcript and a coveted internship on her resume; Amanda has developed a sharp wit and her own particular attitude, but all in the process of becoming a social outcast. The Tribes of Palos Verdes‘ plot synopsis: based on the book by Joy Nicholson, “When teenage Medina (Maika Monroe) moves with her family to the picture-postcard perfect paradise of Palos Verdes, California, they seem headed for a happy new chapter in their lives. My Friend Dahmer‘s plot synopsis: based on the graphic novel by Derf Backderf, “Jeff Dahmer (Ross Lynch) is an awkward teenager struggling to make it through high school with a family life in ruins. He collects roadkill, fixates on a neighborhood jogger (Vincent Kartheiser), and copes with his unstable mother (Anne Heche) and well-intentioned father (Dallas Roberts).

He begins to act out at school, and his goofball antics win over a group of band-nerds who form The Dahmer Fan Club, headed by Derf Backderf (Alex Wolff).
