The Winchesters Pilot Review

We were treated to an early screening of The Winchesters, a spinoff and prequel to the legendary show Supernatural. The Winchesters brings fans into the how’s and why’s the original show. Told with care and without any rewriting or additions to the beloved original storyline, the new show focuses on a young John and Mary and how their love story began! References galore for original Supernatural fans! Men of letters is in there, and the pilot gives real Indian Jones vibes. Refreshing and it was a lot of fun to see young versions of such beloved characters, fans will undoubtedly love the vibe between the two early on in the pilot and the vibe of the show in general. Awesome presentation and a can’t miss new show for fans of the original Supernatural.

HBO Max hosted a panel of the cast of Doom Patrol including a trailer of the upcoming season 4! Hold onto your butts, it is sure to be a WILD ride! The cast included Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Joivan Wade and Michelle Gomez. Joivan Wade stood out with his heartfelt tribute to the show for allowing him to embody a character that was never seen through the eyes of someone like him but his ability to present it on screen allows for future generations of children to see themselves represented in such an important and consequential medium like TV and comic books. Brendan shared how he records most of his lines from another state! Everyone shared their gratitude and fun they have making such a fun and fast show! Season 4 is full of butts and buttkicking, and swears and everything else fans of the franchise have come to adore and await anxiously, Season 4 kicks off December 8th only on HBO Max.
