Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Opening Weekend is Tracking Strongly

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is projected to open between $175-205 million in its premiere weekend, down from the $247.9 million opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the $220 million opening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The reason for the good but not great projection for The Rise of Skywalker is the divisive reception The Last Jedi received when it was released.

A Second Downton Abbey Movie is already in Development

Following the success of the first Downton Abbey movie, a second Downton Abbey movie is in active development by Gareth Neame, chairman of Carnival Films, the production company behind the Downton Abbey film.

The present problem is timing, says Neame: ““We’re having those conversations. We’re working on what the story is, and when we might be able to make it. But it’s the same as the first time around: We have to try to get everyone back together again. And that was very challenging.”

Moonfall’s North American Theatrical Rights acquired by Lionsgate

With mere weeks before impact, and against all odds, a ragtag team launches an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love and risking everything to land on the lunar surface and save our planet from annihilation.”
