Amazon Series Adaptation of Pretty Things to Star Nicole Kidman

Thanks to Nicole Kidman‘s first-look deal with Amazon Studios through her production company Blossom Films, Nicole has signed onto a new thrilling project!

Oscar and Emmy winning actress Nicole Kidman will star and produce Amazon’s series adaptation of New York Times Best-Selling author, Janelle Brown’s new upcoming novel, ‘Pretty Things’. A riveting tale that tells the story of two polar opposite women, one a grifter, the other an heiress, who are brought together through secrets, deceit, and scandal. A novel PopSugar, calls “Impossible to put down, smart, seductive, and utterly captivating.” Pretty Things has yet to hit shelves and it’s already got a deal to become a series with Amazon, the series will be exclusively on Amazon Prime. It has already gotten The Handmaid’s Tale director, Reed Morano, to direct the series. The up and coming thrilling novel will be released on April 21^st for purchasing. Janelle Brown’s other best selling books include: Watch Me Disappear, All We Ever Wanted Was Everything & This Is Where We Live.

Nicole Kidman is becoming quite the television streaming queen, starting to tie in with multiple streaming services, especially during this time where everyone is staying at home and viewership is increasing. She has already made her mark on HBO’s Big Little Lies and has a new highly anticipated series with the network releasing soon called ‘The Undoing’ alongside Hugh Grant, which is written by the Big Little Lies writer, David E. Kelly and directed by her ‘The Night Manager’ director, Susanne Bier. She also has another series adaptation in the works with Hulu, another project that Big Little Lies author, Liane Moriarty, wrote called ‘Nine Perfect Strangers.’ The variety in her roles and where the project is streamed give the audience a different side of the actress and allows Nicole Kidman to be seen on several video streaming platforms across the globe.
