The Walking Dead

Hilarie Burton has been cast as Lucille, the dead wife of Negan. Lucille “succumbed to cancer before the viral outbreak turned people into Walkers.” The role will be a guest starring role in one of the six bonus episodes previously announced for Season 10 of The Walking Dead.

In the TV series, Negan’s death-dealing baseball bat is named after Lucille, his late wife.

Odette Annable has been cast as Geri, ” the bartender at a local bar called the Side Step…an old friend of Walker and his late wife, Emily, who hasn’t seen Walker since Emily’s funeral. It’s clear that she and Walker have a history — a friendship and a shared tragedy.”

Stargirl

Nick Tarabay has been cast as Eclipso, a villainous character.

Jonathan Cake has been cast as The Shade, a villainous character.

Ysa Penarejo has been cast as an undisclosed character on TV series.

The Boys

Claudia Doumit and Colby Minifie have been upped to series regulars.

Doumit plays congresswoman Victoria Neuman.

Cruel Summer

Sarah Drew has been cast as Cindy Turner, “mother to Jeanette (Aurelia). Although once the most popular girl in town, Cindy struggles to hold her family together while being in the crosshairs of town gossip.”

Cruel Summer‘s plot synopsis: it “takes place over three summers — 1993-95 — in a small Texas town when a beautiful popular teen, Kate, played by Olivia Holt, is abducted and, seemingly unrelated, a girl, Jeanette (Chiara Aurelia), goes from being a sweet, awkward outlier to the most popular girl in town and, by ’95, the most despised person in America.”

Tokyo Vice

Rachel Keller has been cast as Samantha, “an American expat living in Tokyo who makes her living as a hostess of the Kabukicho district. She guides many individuals from salarymen, high end clients, and yakuza.”

She joins already cast: Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Ella Rumpf, and Rinko Kikuchi.

Tokyo Vice‘s plot synopsis: “a firsthand account of a young American journalist (Elgort) working the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat.”

J.T. Rogers wrote the screenplays for the TV series. The TV series is based Jake Adelstein’s nonfiction book.

Gossip Girl

Laura Benanti has been cast in an unspecified role in the TV series.

She joins already cast: Emily Alyn Lind, Tavi Gevinson, Whitney Peak, Eli Brown, Johnathan Fernandez, Jordan Alexander, Savannah Smith, Evan Mock, Jason Gotay, Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat, Savannah Smith, and Zion Moreno.

The Prince

Sophie Turner has been cast as the voice of Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

She joins already cast: Gary Janetti, Orlando Bloom, Alan Cumming, Frances De La Tour, Lucy Punch, Condola Rashad, and Iwan Rheon.

Apple TV+

Severance

John Turturro has been cast as Irving, “a longtime, dependable employee at Lumen Industries.”

He joins already cast: Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Zach Cherry, and Britt Lower.

Severance‘s plot synopsis: “Severance takes place at Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level with a “severance procedure,” which separates work and out-of-work memories.”

Ben Stiller will be directing the TV series.

Run the World

Erika Alexander has been cast as Barb in the TV series.

She joins already cast: Amber Stevens, Andrea Bordeaux, Bresha Webb, Corbin Reid, Stephen Bishop, Nick Sagar, Jay Walker, and Tosin Morohunfola.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist

Jee Young Han has been cast as Jenna Kang, “Emily’s (Alice Lee) wild child older sister. An aspiring artist and photographer, Jenna comes to town to “help” Emily and David (Andrew Leeds) with their new baby and only adds to the chaos. Eventually, an unlikely friendship forms between her and Maggie (Mary Steenburgen).”

Felix Mallard has been cast as Aiden, “Zoey’s (Jane Levy) next door neighbor growing up. A recent college grad, he’s just returned from backpacking around Asia and has moved back in with his parents. He’s working at an ice cream shop while trying to launch his garage band. He’s a free spirit who lives one day at a time, and he helps Zoey be more adventurous.”

Y: The Last Man

Ashley Romans has been cast as Agent 355.

Olivia Thirlby has been cast as Hero Brown.

They join already cast Diane Lane and Ben Schnetzer.

Grey’s Anatomy

Mackenzie Marsh has been cast as Val Ashton. Ashton is described as “intelligent, has a fun-loving sense of humor and works in publishing but is extremely lonely.”
