Outlander Season 1 Part 2 Promo, Clips, Featurettes, and Posters. Starz‘s Outlander: Season 1 – Part 2 TV show trailers, 1st five minutes and episode 9 “The Reckoning” TV show clips, “A Look Ahead” and ET featurettes, TV show posters, and more have been released. The trailer and the clip feature footage not previously seen in the trailer for the second half of season 2.

Starz released new key art today for the STARZ Original series “Outlander” with the tagline, “The Story Continues.” Named 2015 People’s Choice Awards – Favorite Cable Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show, “Outlander” is adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books and executive produced by Ronald D. Moore (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation”). The series returns with the remaining eight episodes from season one beginning on Saturday, April 4th at 9 pm ET/PT on STARZ.

The new image acts as a continuation and echo of the premiere key art, but with a dark and dangerous tone. It depicts heroine Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in a moment of confrontation rather than one of transition. She and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) have moved closer and are now a united front. As opposed to reaching back and trying to stay connected to the life and husband she left in 1945, this new image depicts Claire brandishing a dagger at “Black Jack” Randall (Tobias Menzies). A reverse shot of “Black Jack,” as seen from Claire and Jamie’s perspective, shows the peril they face and what they are up against during the second half of this season. The key art was shot on location in the Scottish highlands by photographer Jason Bell with the three actors in the exact same location the original key art was shot.

“Outlander” spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure as it follows Claire Randall, a married WWII combat nurse who mistakenly falls back in time to 1743. As the season continues, Claire and Jamie’s relationship is tested and Claire must reconcile her modern mindset with this 18th century world. Ruthless redcoats, volatile clan politics, and a brutal witch trial force Jamie and Claire to escape to a new home. Just when their life as a married couple begins to take shape, Jamie is once again drawn into Captain Randall’s darkness. Ultimately, Claire discovers there is a fate worse than death as she struggles to save Jamie’s heart, as well as his soul.

“Outlander” is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Starz retains all domestic multiplatform pay TV rights to the original series which has been greenlit for a second season.
