Ozark Renewed for Fourth and Final Season by Netflix

Netflix has renewed television series Ozark for a Fourth Season. The fourth season, it has also been announced, will be Ozark‘s final season. All previous seasons of Ozark were ten episodes long but Season Four will be fourteen episodes long. Because of the extra length, Season Four of Ozark will be split into two equal halves of seven episodes each.

Ozark star Jason Bateman had this to say about the fourth and final season:

Cast and crew

The returning cast of Season Four of Ozark include: Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, and Lisa Emery.

Showrunner Chris Mundy, along with other writers, will return to write the final episodes of Ozark.

Series Plot Synopsis

Ozark‘s plot synopsis: “After a money laundering scheme for a Mexican drug cartel goes wrong, financial advisor Martin “Marty” Byrde proposes to make amends by offering to set up a bigger laundering operation in the Lake of the Ozarks region of central Missouri. When the Byrdes arrive in Missouri, they become entangled with local criminals, including the Langmore and Snell families, and later the Kansas City Mafia.”
