ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (2016): Death Star Looms in First Official Poster

The Death Star Appears in First Official Poster for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We are only months away till the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and we have our first official poster. As you can see, the Death Star makes an appearance, confirming its role in the prequel.

The cast attended a panel in London this week and there were some surprises in store, but not as big as the first official poster for the first anthology installment. We see some rebels fighting off against some stormtroopers in the beach while we see the Death Star only a distance away in space. The poster shows us that this is the Death Star that’s being built, but it will also be where the rebels will strike in order to get the plans to destroy it.

The cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, and Mads Mikkelsen. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film is scheduled to release on December 16, 2016.
