Season of the Witch (2010) Movie Trailer has premiered. Season of the Witch (2010) is directed by Dominic Sena and stars Nicolas Cage, Claire Foy, Ron Perlman, Ulrich Thomsen, Robert Sheehan, and Stephen Graham. Season of the Witch (2010)‘s plot synopsis (possible spoilers): “Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Ron Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence. A priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), a grieving knight (Ulrich Thomsen), an itinerant swindler (Stephen Graham) and a headstrong youth who can only dream of becoming a knight (Robert Sheehan) join a mission troubled by mythically hostile wilderness and fierce contention over the fate of the girl.” I have got to say that I loved this movie trailer. The problem with it though is that it gives far too much away. By watching this trailer, it feels as though you have seen a highlight reel of all three acts of Season of the Witch (2010). It makes the viewer want to see the film but at the same time, their may be no surprises left. This is the same thing that planned with the Friday the 13th (2009) Movie Trailer. The people responsible for this Season of the Witch (2010) Movie Trailer were in too big of a hurry to get asses in the seats and did not even bother to tease of allude to with their movie trailer.
