The Strain: Season 4 Trailer

FX‘s The Strain: Season 4 TV show trailer stars Miguel Gomez, Richard Sammel, Jonathan Hyde, Kevin Durand, and David Bradley. The Strain: Season 4’s plot synopsis: based on book series by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, “As the fourth and final season begins, nine months have passed. The world has fallen into darkness, and the strigoi are in control. The explosion at the end of season three triggered a global nuclear apocalypse. The resulting nuclear winter liberated the strigoi, allowing them to move about during daytime, and allowing the Master to establish a totalitarian regime.

Preying on the fears of the populace, the Master and his minions have created an unsettling alliance in “The Partnership.” The majority of humans are now working for the strigoi, operating with a single understanding — collaborate or die. With the world in disarray and our heroes disbanded, each of them will have to overcome personal hardship and defy death for even the smallest chance at fighting back… All the while, the Master reigns supreme, furthering his scheme for the end of the world as we know it. In the face of annihilation…do our heroes have what it takes to save humankind?”

I am not sure or not but this trailer either discloses The Master (Jonathan Hyde) giving Zack another treatment for his asthma or The Master turning Zack Goodweather (Max Charles). I don’t think the producers of The Strain would give away such a momentous event in a promo but things like that have occurred.

It is very clever how the vampires incorporated themselves into the lives of humanity through their “Partnership” propaganda. I am guessing former Nazi SS Officer Thomas Eichorst (Richard Sammel) had a hand in the design of that program.

The Strain: Season 4 also stars Corey Stoll, Max Charles, Ruta Gedmintas, David Bradley, and Rupert Penry-Jones.

The Strain television show comes from Co-Creators/Executive Producers/Writers Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan and Showrunner/Executive Producer/Writer Carlton Cuse. Gary Ungar, David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, and J. Miles Dale  also serve as Executive Producers on The Strain. The Strain is produced for television by FX Productions.
