SUPERGIRL: First Look at Tyler Hoechlin as Superman [The CW]

Tyler Hoechlin Appears as Superman in First Image for Season Two of Supergirl. In the first image of The CW’s newly acquired show Supergirl, the series gives fans a glimpse of actor Tyler Hoechlin suited up as the Man of Steel as he stands alongside Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl.

TV Insider first put out our first look at the show’s take on Superman. The promotional image shows Kara (Melissa Benoist) as she stands alongside her cousin, played by Teen Wolfs Tyler Hoechlin. The costume for Superman appears to be sticking to the same color pallet as Supergirl based on the image. We see that he will be utilizing a belt rather than the traditional underwear from the comics. It’s still a mystery as to how Superman will become part of the plot for season two of Supergirl, but we will find out once the series returns this fall.
