The Immigrant Trailers. James Gray‘s The Immigrant (2014) US and International movie trailers star Marion Cotillard, Joaquin Phoenix, Jeremy Renner, Dagmara Dominczyk, and Jicky Schnee. The Immigrant‘s plot synopsis’ plot synopsis: “In 1921 Ewa Cybulski (Marion Cotillard) and her sister Magda (Angela Sarafyan) arrive at Ellis Island, New York. Magda is quarantined because of her lung disease and Ewa is almost deported, until a charming but wicked man named Bruno (Joaquin Phoenix) takes her to his house. Knowing that Ewa has to make money to get Magda back, Bruno lets her dance at the Bandits’ Roost theater and become a prostitute. There she meets Emil (Jeremy Renner), Bruno’s cousin, who tries to save her, but only more complications arise.”

The Immigrant also stars Maja Wampuszyc, Ilia Volok, Angela Sarafyan, Antoni Corone, Patrick Husted, Robert Clohessy, Adam Rothenberg, and Matthew Humphreys.
