Tiger Raid Trailer

Simon Dixon‘s Tiger Raid (2016) movie trailer stars Sofia Boutella, Rory Fleck Byrne, Brian Gleeson, and Damien Molony. Tiger Raid‘s plot synopsis: “Tells the story of two mercenaries, bound together by a job, haunted by demons from their pasts, and unable to face the truth of who they are. Joe and Paddy are members of a private security crew working in the Middle East. They have been assigned to kidnap the daughter of a powerful man as part of a major robbery – a Tiger Raid. We meet them as they travel through the inhospitable desert on their way to execute the raid.”

The beginning of this trailer was good, it introduced the main characters and then the step up. The last third of the trailer is a bit incoherent, a disservice to the film.

Tiger Raid seems like a character study i.e. the past is prologue. One of the mercenaries seems to fighting against what he is becoming (or already is) while the other mercenary is fully ensconced in his new, dark nature.
