STAR TREK BEYOND (2016) Movie Trailer: Kirk & Spock Return in a New Adventure

Star Trek Beyond Trailer. Justin Lin‘s Star Trek Beyond (2016) movie trailer stars Chris Pine, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and Zachary Quinto. Star Trek Beyond‘s plot synopsis: the plot to the film is currently undisclosed but from the trailer, it features new aliens who are practitioners of martial arts (or whatever they call it on their planet).

I enjoyed many of the visuals in the trailer but it was thin on plot. I believe that it was designed that way, like the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers, keeping the film’s major plot points and surprises for when you actually sit down to watch the film. That being said, I would like to know what is going on in Star Trek Beyond, at least on a basic level.
