Transformers: The Last Knight Movie Clip and Extended TV Spot

Paramount Pictures has released a movie clip and an extended movie TV commercial for Transformers: The Last Knight (2017). The Transformers: The Last Knight clip was premiered at the 2017 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards. In the movie clip Izabella (Isabela Moner), Quiet Kid (Samuel Parker), Heavy Kid (Juliocesar Chavez), and Benjamin Flores Jr.‘s character are running from robot that appears to be on guard duty or hunting potential targets, like Hunter-Killers aka HKs from The Terminator universe.

The clip ends by introducing what looks like a Autobot – I haven’t seen the last few films so I don’t know if its a new Autobot or not.

In the extended Transformers: The Last Knight TV spot puts Izabella front and center. It gives the viewer a look into the personality of Izabella and what makes her tick. It also makes it extremely clear that Paramount Pictures is courting the lucrative children’s market. The disconcerting presence of baby Dinobots are the nail in that coffin.

Transformers: The Last Knight‘s plot synopsis: “The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager; Bumblebee; an English Lord; and an Oxford Professor.”

Transformers: The Last Knight‘s stars Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, John Goodman, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Jean Dujardin, Gil Birmingham, Santiago Cabrera, Ken Watanabe, John DiMaggio, Frank Welker, and Peter Cullen.
