TV Review: True Blood: Season 2, Ep. 6: Timebomb

Godric! True Blood: Season 2, Ep. 6: Timebomb introduced what I have been waiting to see all this season on True Blood. Godric. After he was shown turning Eric Northman in True Blood: Season 2, Ep. 5: Never Let Me Go, I have been waiting to see more of Godric, how he spoke, and how he would interact with other characters on the show. Who could have guessed that 2000 years on Earth would have enlightened him towards vampire kind and humanity. The fact that he is actually older than Jesus The Christ is an interesting fact as well. His body needs very little blood, he is calm, and he does not let anger cloud his desire for peace between vampires and humans.

Jessica Hamby’s story and vampire-lore has definitely taken a good turn (or a bad one depending on your point of view). If you are a female, make sure you are not a virgin before you are turned by a vampire or you will have to experience being devirginized every time you have sex. Jessica is truly cursed for all time, more than any other vampire on the True Blood series.
