Vin Diesel Set to Pay Homage to Paul Walker with the Conclusion of the FAST SAGA

Vin Diesel Paul Walker Fast Saga

Vin Diesel to Say a Proper Goodbye to Paul Walker

Vin Diesel will soon be bringing the Fast Saga films to a close and included in that promise will be a homage to the late Paul Walker.

This May, the next to last film in the Fast Saga, Fast X. will be coming out. After that, there will be one more film to close off the series. Included in this closure of the popular franchise will be a special tribute to the now deceased star of several of these films, Paul Walker. Vin Diesel would like to honor the memory of Walker in a very special way and these last two films promise to bring Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner, into the mix in an uncertain way as of now. Diesel wants to say goodbye to his beloved friend and co-star, Walker, in a memorable and meaningful fashion.

While we don’t know if Fast X or Fast XI (or perhaps, both) will include the tribute to Walker, Diesel is determined to keep dear the legacy of the accomplished actor who was Paul Walker. Diesel wants to end this film series with a very loving set of memories of Walker’s Brian O’Conner for fans of the series.

Fast X is being directed by Louis Leterrier who suggests that we will be able to see Brian’s past but probably not his present. Huge fans of these films know that the character of Brian was not killed off. In Furious 7, we saw Brian and Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto, driving off in different directions. It was unsure if they would “see each other again” but there may be an answer regarding what happened to their friendship and why in the final films of the Saga.

Diesel believes this series should end with “dignity” and “integrity.” Don’t count out a whole lot of action either with action megastar Jason Momoa also on board the new film coming out this May. It seems all bets are off as to just how good Fast X will be. Also in the movie is Brie Larson who will be a terrific new addition to the franchise. Even the legendary Rita Moreno will be in it!

Paul Walker died in 2013 but the film series continued to hint that the character he played, Brian, may still be alive. While Walker will always be alive in spirit, it’s fitting that the movies remember him as the legendary action star that he was. Fast Saga fans will be looking out for the homage to Walker as the next two films make their way out to the theaters. Fast X has a budget that is one of the highest of all-time so it will need a lot of heart alongside the action to make the money it needs to make to break even.
