AMC‘s The Walking Dead East Review. Walking With The Dead: The Walking Dead Podcast: Season 6, Episode 16: Last Day On Earth is an audio podcast review in which FilmBook contributor Steven Bueno and his team Mark Martin and Cornell Montgomery (from The League of Ordinary Gentlemen) analyze and discuss their thoughts about the latest episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead: Season 6, Episode 16: Last Day On Earth‘s plot synopsis (spoilers): “Rick and the group try to get Maggie to Hilltop for medical attention, but find all of the routes blocked by the Saviors. Morgan rescues Carol from the Savior following her and encounters another survivor group. With time running out, Eugene volunteers to be bait to distract the Saviors while the rest of the group gets Maggie to Hilltop on foot. However, they end up being surrounded by the Saviors and captured. Negan himself then arrives and introduces himself to the group. In order to send a message to Rick and his group, Negan decides to beat one of the group members to death. When he arbitrarily chooses his victim, Negan orders his men to cut out Carl’s remaining eye and feed it to Rick should anyone try to stop him and then he proceeds to bludgeon his victim, whose identity remains unknown as it is shown in a first person as Negan screams “Look at that! Taking it like a champ!” proving no clues as to the gender of the victim. This leaves Glenn, Daryl, Michonne, Maggie, Rosita, Aaron, Sasha, Abraham and Eugene’s fates unknown.

I regularly keep up with Gotham, The Flash, Constantine, Daredevil, and Arrow along with any animated movie DC releases. I have no personal preference when it comes to any comic book company but am a fan of the visual genre in general. I grew up in the 90's and was lucky enough to grow up with both the Batman series and the Superman Animated series along with shows like Teen Titans and even kept up with short lived series like young justice. I regularly keep up with the latest news on future movie/television adaptations of comic books.
