Westworld Promo. HBO‘s Westworld (2016) TV show teaser trailer stars Evan Rachel Wood, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden, and Thandie Newton. Westworld‘s plot synopsis: “WESTWORLD is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.”

The series is based on the 1973 film of the same name, and is set at a theme park run by very life-like androids. Unlike the film, which centered around human visitors being menaced by robot workers, the show will be from the workers’ perspective.
