You Were Never Really Here U.S. Trailer

Amazon Studios has released the United States movie trailer for You Were Never Really Here (2017). This trailer for Lynne Ramsay‘s film gives away a bit too much for my tastes. The international movie trailer for You Were Never Really Here was far less revealing and far more subtle, enticing the viewer, making them want to see more. This trailer seemed to give away most of the major plot points in all three acts of the film. I stopped watching the trailer towards the end because I didn’t want everything ruined for me.

Ramsay seems as though he is a student of integrating environments into the mood and the story of his films. In no way, shape, or form does You Were Never Really Here seem like a standard action film. The protagonist, Joe (Joaquin Phoenix), almost seems more interesting than the plot he eventually becomes involved in e.g. what made him the way that he is?
