EQUALS (2015) Movie Trailer 2: Nicholas Hoult & Kristen Stewart’s Dystopian Romance

Equals Trailer 2. Drake DoremusEquals (2015) movie trailer 2 has been released. The first trailer was more of impressions. The viewer watched the images, listened to the soundtrack, and got an impression of the mood of the film and what awaited them if they saw the film. Those impressions turned out to be pretty accurate as you will see in the new trailer. Big Brother is watching and all “citizens” are informants, watching for deviations from the norm.

Once Nia (Kristen Stewart) and Silas (Nicholas Hoult)’s decide to escape their comfortable lives for each other, where is it exactly that they plan on running if their daily lives are monitored so closely? Are they running to an unmonitored area of the world?

This trailer finally introduces the characters played by Jacki Weaver and Guy Pearce, who also appear to be “feeling” à la Equilibrium. Their appearance brought up the question: If they are feeling yet hiding in plain sight, why can’t Nia and Silas do the same?

Equals‘ plot synopsis: “A futuristic love story set in a world where emotions have been eradicated.”

Equals also stars Bel Powley, Claudia Kim, Kate Lyn Sheil, David Selby, Toby Huss, Aurora Perrineau, Scott Lawrence, Rebecca Hazlewood, Rizwan Manji, and Kai Lennox.
