ABC Gives Status on John Ridley’s Unknown Marvel TV Project

Fans have been guessing what kind of show John Ridley is working on for Marvel and ABC. So what is John Ridley working on? Well, no one seems to have an idea of what the show is but the network did share an update on the series as it’s still in development at this point.

Entertainment Weekly asked ABC President Channing Dungey to update what the project’s status is, and it looks like the show is still a long way from production. “Yeah, so John is working on a rewrite of that script for Marvel at the moment. We have not seen a new version of it. He’s been on production of his show, over in London, and on season 3 of American Crime, so those are the things that have been top of mind for him of late. But I have heard from Marvel that he is working on a revision to that script.”

As Agent of SHIELD is being looked for another season and the Inhumans TV series getting off the ground, Ridley certainly is taking his time to work on this new show. Fans have been guessing lots of possibilities for the show, going from Ms. Marvel to a series focusing on Blade’s daughter. It’s anyone’s guess, but we will surely be on the lookout once we hear anything. Are you guys looking forward to seeing John Ridley’s new show for Marvel? What do you think it will be?
