SUPERGIRL: Mon-El and Miss Martian Confirmed to Appear [The CW]

Chris Wood and Sharon Leal to Portray Mon-El and Miss Martian on Supergirl. Two more DC superheroes will be making their presence during the new season of Supergirl when The CW revealed that Mon-El and Miss Martian will be making their debut.

Chris Woods was previously announced to have a role on Supergirl, and now it is confirmed that he would be playing Legion of Super-heroes member Mon-El. The show describes the character as having powers similar to Melissa Benoist’s Kara Zor-El, but instead of Krpyton, he will be from  the planet Daxam. Mon-El is also revealed to be the person in the pod that Kara finds in the season finale.

Sharon Leal Miss Martian

The other DC character Miss Martian will also be making an appearing on Supergirl, who is being played by Sharon Leal. For those who don’t know, Miss Martian was one of the characters on Young Justice who was introduced as Martian Manhunter’s niece. David Harewood portrayed Martian Manhunter on Supergirl, which became a big development on the show, so it’s a surprise that his niece M’gann M’orzz will show up so soon.
