The theatrical movie box office results for April 22, 2022 through April 24, 2022 have been released.

The Bad Guys premiered in the Number One spot at the box office in the United States over the weekend with $24 Million.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was Second for the second week in a row at the box office with $15.2 Million for $145.8 million so far. Worldwide, the film has made $220.6 Million.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore was Third at the United States box office with $14 Million.

The Northman premiered in Fourth Place at the box office over the weekend with $12 Million.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent premiered in Fifth Place at the box office over the weekend with $7.1 Million.

These films: Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Lost City, Morbius, Ambulance, and The Batman rounded out the Top Ten respectively.

The Bad Guys is a 2022 American computer-animated crime comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film was directed by Pierre Perifel (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Etan Cohen, and is based on the children’s book series of the same name by Aaron Blabey. The film stars the voices of Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Anthony Ramos, Craig Robinson, Awkwafina, and Richard Ayoade. It tells the story of a group of criminal animals who, upon being caught, pretend to attempt to reform themselves as model citizens as a new villain has his own plans.

The Northman is a 2022 American epic historical action drama film directed by Robert Eggers, and co-written by Eggers and Sjón. Based on the legend of Amleth, the film stars Alexander Skarsgård (which also co-produced), Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Björk, and Willem Dafoe.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by Tom Gormican from a screenplay co-written with Kevin Etten. The film stars Nicolas Cage as a fictionalised version of himself, along with a supporting cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Sharon Horgan, Ike Barinholtz, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tiffany Haddish.
