Box Office

Box Office: October 25-27, 2019: JOKER, MALFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, & More

Joaquin Phoenix Joker

Box Office October 25-27, 2019

Joker was the Number One film at the box office over the weekend for the third time with $18.9 Million for $277.5 Million. It is very rare that a movie moves out of the top spot at the box office then moves back to it. The positive word-of-mouth is strong for Joker, assisting in the aforementioned feat, plus the fact that it just passed Deadpool as the number one R-rated film of all time helped as well. Worldwide, Joker has made $849 Million so far.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was Second at the box office over the weekend with $18.5 Million.

Black and Blue (which premiered this weekend), Gemini Man, Lighthouse, The Current War: Director’s Cut, and Abominable rounded out the Top Ten respectively.
