The theatrical movie box office results for September 3, 2021 through September 5, 2021 have been released.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings premiered in the Number One spot at the United States box office with $71.4 Million.

Candyman was Second at the box office with $10.5 Million.

Free Guy was Third at the Unites States box office with $8.7 Million.

Jungle Cruise was Fourth at the box office with $5 Million for $105.6 Million so far. World-wide, Jungle Cruise has made $192.5.

PAW Patrol: The Movie was Fifth at the box office over the weekend with $3.8 Million.

These films: Don’t Breathe 2, The Suicide Squad, Black Widow, The Night House, and The Protege rounded out the Top Ten respectively.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a 2021 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Shang-Chi. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay he wrote with Dave Callaham and Andrew Lanham, from a story by Cretton and Callaham. It stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi alongside Awkwafina, Meng’er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Kingsley, and Tony Leung. In the film, Shang-Chi is forced to confront his past after he is drawn into his father’s Ten Rings organization.
