Snowfall, MasterChef, and Greenleaf TV Series Each Renewed

FX’s Snowfall has been renewed for a third season.

Fox’s MasterChef has been renewed for a tenth season.

Own’s Greenleaf has been renewed for a fourth season.

Marvel Female Superheroes TV Series being Developed by ABC

A new superhero female-centric TV series is being developed for ABC by Allan Heinberg, the writer of Patty JenkinsWonder Woman. The series will apparently involve lesser known Marvel superheroes and teams like: A-Force, Lady Liberators, and Fearless Defenders.

This is curious as it was assumed that all new Marvel TV series would air exclusively on Disney’s streaming service Disney Play, a service that will premiere in 2019. It would seem that this strategy has become fluid.

Downton Abbey Film Release Date

The Downton Abbey movie will be released in international markets through Universal Pictures International on September 13, 2019 and in the United States through Focus Features on September 20, 2019.

Loki and Scarlet Witch Mini-series Coming to Disney Play

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will each be getting their own stand-alone TV mini-series on on Disney’s streaming service Disney Play, a service that will premiere in 2019. Each mini-series will be six to eight episodes long and will feature “fan-favorite Marvel characters that don’t have their own film franchises.” Kevin Feige will be overseeing the Marvel / Disney Play TV mini-series.
