Terminator: Dark Fate’s Musical Score Artist has been Selected

Tom Holkenborg a.k.a. Junkie XL will compose the musical score for Terminator: Dark Fate.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be released in U.S. theaters through Paramount Pictures on November 1, 2019.

Bitter Root Adaptation Film Comes to Legendary

Legendary Entertainment has bought the film rights to Image Comics’ Bitter Root and is adapting the comic book series into a feature film.

Created by Chuck Brown, David F. Walker, and Sanford Greene, Bitter Root “follows the Sangeryes, an African-American family living in New York City in the 1920s during the height of the Jazz Age. While the Sangeryes were once a force to be reckoned with, the family is deeply divided by their merciful tactics. However, when faced with a supernatural invasion that feeds on prejudice, spite, and bigotry, the Sangeryes will be all that stands in the way.”

The Nightingale Receives Official Theatrical Release Date

The Nightingale will be released in U.S. theaters through IFC Films on August 2, 2019.

CBS sets Premiere Date for Sherlock Holmes’ Final Season and More

Blood & Treasure will premiere on May 21, 2019 at 9 p.m. “The series settles into its regular 10 p.m. Tuesday slot on May 28.”

Blood & Treasure‘s plot synopsis: “The new series follows a brilliant antiquities expert (Matt Barr) and a cunning art thief (Sofia Pernas) as they track a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure. As they crisscross the globe hunting their target, they unexpectedly find themselves at the center of a 2,000-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization.

Elementary will premiere on May 23, 2019 at 10 p.m.

Elementary‘s plot synopsis: “The final go-round will see the pair’s new careers as consultants for Scotland Yard disrupted by news that a member of their inner circle has been gravely wounded in the United States. As Holmes’ stateside legal trouble – the result of a confession to a murder he didn’t commit – threatens to keep them from returning to New York, their greatest foe to date, tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach (James Frain), waits on the horizon to test their limits.”

Instinct will premiere on June 16, 2019 at 9 p.m.

Asunda TV Adaptation Being Developed by HBO

HBO is developing a Asunda comic book-to-TV adaptation.

Created by Sebastian A. Jones, Asunda‘s plot synopsis: “At the center of the Asunda mythology is Niobe Ayutami, an orphan girl born of two nations, conceived through violence and raised in a small desert town. The character was introduced in The Untamed, which was collected in graphic novel form in 2014. Niobe’s father was a king in a country modeled on England and Europe, while her mother was the kidnapped female chief of a nomadic tribe of elves who roam a jungle region modeled after West Africa. With a target on her back, Niobe will search for her ancestors and the courage to bind them against an ancient enemy.”

Starz is making Vida: Season 2 Binge-able

All ten episodes of Vida: Season 2 will be made available online and via the Starz app on May 23, 2019. The following week, on May 26, 2019, the show will begin airing on Starz, one episode per week.

Chambers TV Series Given Premiere Date by Netflix

Supernatural drama Chambers will premiere on Netflix on April 26, 2019.

Starring Tony Goldwyn and Uma Thurman, Chambers “centers on a young heart attack survivor who becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor’s sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister. Thurman will play Nancy, the mother of the heart donor who forges a hesitant relationship with the young recipient only to find her daughter may not be as dead as she thought.”

The Connors Renewed for Season Two by ABC

The Connors has been renewed for a second season by ABC.

Supernatural Cancelled After Season Fifteen by The CW

After fifteen seasons, The CW has announced that Season Fifteen of Supernatural will be its final season. Season Fifteen will be twenty episodes long. The episode total for the series at the end of its run will be 327 episodes. That is enough episodes for triple syndication on another network. If picked up to air on another network, the cast of Supernatural will be getting paid from the series long after its end.
