X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016) Movie Trailer 2: “Everything They’ve Built Will Fall”

X-Men Apocalypse Trailer 2. Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) movie trailer 2 stars Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, and Lucas Till. X-Men: Apocalypse‘s plot synopsis: “Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible.

Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.”

I would say this is the best look at the film to date, showing more of the bad guy and how he came to be. I can not shake the feeling though that this will be a big effects film. As a movie-goer, I miss the substance and one-upmanship that X-Men 2 brought to the movie landscape. That was not present in any of the other X-Men films. I want that character development, etc. in this X-Men film but the promo materials are not showing that it is there. I hope that I am wrong.
