FURY (2014): Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, and Scott Eastwood Cast in Film

Fury will be yet another highly expected, filled with stars epic film from 2014. Its story is set in World War II and its cast includes Brad Pitt and two talented, ambitious rising stars: Shia LaBeouf and Clint Eastwood’s son-Scott Eastwood.

Brad Pitt is expanding his film career as an actor and a producer very productively. After his roles in 2013 in The Counselor, World War Z and 12 Years a Slave, he is aiming to triumph even further through his war drama Fury. Brad Pitt has never been in an unsuccessful production and in all honesty the older he gets, the better he grows as a professional in the industry. This is exactly why critics and fans look forward to Fury with such enthusiasm. In the second decade of the 21^st century Brad Pitt’s name doesn’t evoke girl crushes anymore as much as it stands for quality cinema.

Shia LaBeouf is also going through positive development. It is true that the Transformers series genuinely scarred his career even if they filled his wallet. More recently, however, Shia LaBeouf was chosen by Lars Von Trier himself to star in his new film Nymphomaniac which proves both Shia’s devotion to the art of cinema and his talent. His own choice to depart Michael Bay’s money-spinning but critically failing blockbusters demonstrates his qualities as a star and an actor. Fury will hopefully drive him in the right direction even more.

 Scott Eastwood is the newest young hope for Hollywood. He is the son of the film-making icon Clint Eastwood and his ambitions are to be as successful as his father one day. The twenty-seven year old actor has starred in some solid productions in the past but nothing has been as big as Fury. For Eastwood Jr. this will be a very solid introduction into mainstream cinema and a great chance for him to prove his qualities as a successor of his legendary father.
