James Bond New Release Date and Screenwriter

The twenty-fifth James Bond film will now be released on April 8, 2020. Screenwriter Scott Z. Burns has been hired to do an “overhaul” of the current Bond 25 script written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

Fast and Furious 9 given new Theatrical Release Date

The ninth Fast and Furious film will now be released on May 22, 2020.

Dune given Official Theatrical Release Date

The Dune remake has been given the official release date of November 20, 2020.

TV Show News

The Punisher and Jessica Jones have both been cancelled by Netflix. The third season of Jessica Jones will still air and stream on Netflix but after that, no new seasons of either show will air on Netflix.

In addition, in reviewing our Marvel programming, we have decided that the upcoming third season will also be the final season for Marvel’s Jessica Jones. We are grateful to showrunner Melissa Rosenberg, star Krysten Ritter, and the entire cast and crew, for three incredible seasons of this groundbreaking series, which was recognized by the Peabody Awards among many others. We are grateful to Marvel for five years of our fruitful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have followed these series from the beginning.”

Mattel Television Ramps Up TV Series Production

Following the hiring of Adam Bonnet as executive producer, Mattel Television has twenty-two animated and live-action TV programs in development, based on the Mattel brand and its products. These programming will premiere and air on multiple platforms, which includes streaming and traditional platforms.
