Luke Evans cast in Nine Perfect Strangers

Luke Evans has been cast in the TV mini-series Nine Perfect Strangers. He will play Lars, “one of the nine ‘perfect’ strangers.”

This actor joins already cast: Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, and Manny Jacinto.

Nine Perfect Strangers‘ plot synopsis: based on the book by Liane Moriarty, “Nine Perfect Strangers the series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (played by Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.”

David E. Kelley, John Henry Butterworth, and Samantha Strauss co-wrote the screenplays for the mini-series.

The TV mini-series is set to debut in 2021 on Hulu.
