Pallavi Sharda has been cast as Alex, “David’s (Mike Vogel) girlfriend who is trying to connect with his teen daughter Natalie (Sarah Catherine Hook).

This actress joins already cast: Mike Vogel, Matt Passmore, Edwin Hodge, Mallory Jansen, Lorenzo Richelmy, Amit Shah, and Diana Bermudez.

Triangle‘s plot synopsis: “Triangle poses the question, what if the Bermuda Triangle was not a watery grave in the middle of the ocean but a land lost in time that has trapped travelers over the course of human history? When a family is shipwrecked in this strange land, they must band together with a group of like-minded inhabitants — from throughout history — to survive and somehow find a way home.”

Jon Harmon Feldman and Sonny Postiglione wrote the screenplays for McG-directed TV series.

Snowpiercer

Rowan Blanchard has been cast as Alexandra, “a guest role with potential to join the cast in a more constant way is the first season is successful.”

Josh Friedman wrote the screenplay for the Scott Derrickson-directed pilot episode.

Animal Kingdom

Eddie Ramos has been cast in the recurring role of Tupi, “an ex from Mia’s past who endangers Mia’s standing with J. Tupi is dangerous, angry, and willing to do anything for some cash.”

This actor joins already cast: David DeSantos, Sohvi Rodriguez, Emily Deschanel, Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary, Finn Cole, and Sohvi Rodriguez.

Game of Throne Prequel Pilot

Marquis Rodriguez, John Simm, Richard McCabe, John Heffernan, and Dixie Egerickx have been cast in an unspecified roles.

Game of Thrones‘ prequel series plot synopsis: “The untitled pilot takes the prequel concept to a new level as it is set thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones. And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.”

The Game of Thrones prequel series is written by Jane Goldman.

Homeland

Emmy-nominated actor Hugh Dancy (Hannibal) will guest star in a multi-episode arc on the award-winning drama series HOMELAND, starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Claire Danes and Emmy and Tony® winner Mandy Patinkin. Dancy will recur as John Zabel, a savvy Washington consultant who joins the White House as a new foreign-policy advisor to the President and a formidable opponent to Saul Berenson (Patinkin). The acclaimed series is currently in production on its eighth and final season and will premiere later this year.

The final season of HOMELAND finds Carrie Mathison (Danes) recovering from months of brutal confinement in a Russian gulag. Her body is healing, but her memory remains fractured – which is a problem for Saul, now National Security Advisor to the newly ascendant President Warner (Emmy and Golden Globe winner Beau Bridges). The top priority of Warner’s young administration is an end to the “forever war” in Afghanistan, and Saul has been dispatched to engage the Taliban in peace negotiations. But Kabul teems with warlords and mercenaries, zealots and spies – and Saul needs the relationships and expertise that only his protégé can provide. Against medical advice, Saul asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion’s den – one last time.

Dancy returns to SHOWTIME after recurring on THE BIG C. He received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his role as Earl of Essex in Elizabeth I. He also recently starred in The Path and Hannibal, for which he received two Critics Choice Television Award nominations for Best Actor. Dancy’s other television credits include Daniel Deronda, David Copperfield and Madame Bovary. On the big screen, he will appear later this year in the film Late Night with Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson. His past film credits including Hysteria, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Adam, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Our Idiot Brother, Evening, The Jane Austen Book Club, Beyond the Gates, King Arthur, Ella Enchanted, The Sleeping Dictionary, Black Hawk Down and Young Blades. Among his theater performances, Dancy starred on Broadway in the Tony nominated play Venus in Fur, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels

Kerry Bishé has been cast as Sister Molly, “a charismatic radio evangelist. A beautiful singer and gifted orator, Molly captivates her many faithful followers even as she grapples with the complex demands of her life.”

This actress joins already cast Daniel Zovatto, Natalie Dormer, Rory Kinnear, Adriana Barraza, Jessica Garza, Johnathan Nieves, and Nathan Lane.

City of Angels‘ plot synopsis: “City of Angels will be set in 1938 Los Angeles, a time and place deeply infused with Mexican-American folklore and social tension. Rooted in the conflict between characters connected to the deity Santa Muerte and others allied with the Devil, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels will explore an exciting mix of the supernatural and the combustible reality of that period, creating new occult myths and moral dilemmas within a genuine historical backdrop.”

John Logan is writing the screenplays for the series.

The Unicorn

Rob Corddry has been cast as Forrest, “a good friend of Wade.”

Michaela Watkins has been cast as Delia, the “blunt and controlling” wife of Forrest.

The Unicorn‘s plot synopsis: “In The Unicorn, Goggins will play a recent widower named Wade and devoted father to two adolescent girls. The character is described as a big-hearted open-book of a guy, but without his wife, he’s finding himself at sea. When his friends persuade him to start dating again, he discovers to his shock that he’s kind of a hot commodity, if only he knew what the hell he was doing.”

Bill Martin and Mike Schiff are the writing the screenplay for the pilot episode.

Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Sakina Jaffrey, and Betty Gabriel have been cast in unspecified roles.

Ron Cephas Jones has been cast as Dr. Hyde, “who his a History of Religion teacher at Culver Creek Academy. He is described as impossibly old with only one lung — but once he’s in full command, Dr. Hyde is an enthralling presence who finds his own jokes amusing and who has been very smart for a very long time indeed.”

These actors and actresses join already cast Denny Love, Jay Lee , Landry Bender, Uriah Shelton, Jordan Connor, Sofia Vassilieva, Charlie Plummer and Kristine Froseth.

Looking for Alaska‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by John Green, “The series is based on the John Green novel of the same name. It is told through the eyes of teenager Miles “Pudge” Halter, as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with a girl, Alaska Young, and after her unexpected death, he and his close friends attempt to uncover the truth behind her death and make sense of it.”

Josh Schwartz wrote the screenplay for the pilot episode for the eight part TV mini-series.

Light as a Feather: Season 2‘s plot synopsis: based on the story by Zoe Aarsen, “In season 2, having inherited the curse brought on by the lethal game of “Light As A Feather,” McKenna (Liberato) finds herself fighting against a ticking clock compelling her to play along.”

Andre Holland has been cast as Elliot Udo, “a celebrated jazz pianist from New York. Now in Paris and the part-owner of a failing jazz club, Elliot is hiding from everyone. The character has an on-again-off-again romance with his lead singer. When his 15-year-old daughter suddenly shows up, Elliot has to face his weakness and learn to grow up.”

Jack Thorne wrote the screenplays for TV series.

Damien Chazelle will direct two of the episodes.

Nancy Drew

Pamela Sue Martin has been cast as an adviser to Nancy Drew.

This actor joins already cast: Freddie Prinze Jr., Kennedy McMann, Tunji Kasim, Leah Lewis, Maddison Jaizani, and Alex Saxon.

Nancy Drew‘s plot synopsis: it “centers on 18-year-old Nancy Drew (McMann) and is set in the summer after her high school graduation. She thought she’d be leaving her hometown for college, but when a family tragedy holds her back another year, she finds herself embroiled in a ghostly murder investigation — and along the way, uncovers secrets that run deeper than she ever imagined.”

Noga Landau, Josh Schwartz, and Stephanie Savage wrote the screenplays for the Larry Teng-directed TV series.

DC Universe

Titans

Chelsea T. Zhang has been cast as Rose Wilson a.k.a. Ravager, daughter of Deathstroke. “Rose Wilson was forced to undergo the same procedure that granted her father nearly superhuman abilities, becoming a weapon known as Ravager. Ever resentful, she seeks out the Titans not only for their protection but to get back at her father. Knowing how dangerous it is to be the offspring of their deadliest foe, the Titans take her in but that doesn’t necessarily mean they trust her.”

Curran Walters has been upped to a series regular. He portrays Jason Todd, the second Robin.

This actor joins already cast: Chella Man, Esai Morales, Joshua Orpin, Brenton Thwaites, Teagan Croft, Anna Diop, Alan Ritchson, and Minka Kelly.
