POWERS: First Trailer of Second Season Gets Released [Playstation]

Susan Hayward Sharlto Copley Powers Season Two Trailer

Playstation Releases First Trailer for Second Season of Powers. After what transpired during the freshman season finale of Powers, their world was changed forever. Now it’s superheroes who are getting killed as we open up the teaser trailer for season two of PSN’s first series.

In the new trailer, we find Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley), his partner Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward), and the rest of the Powers division shaken by the death of Retro Girl (Michelle Forbes). The whole department must now stand on their toes as a superhero killer is on the loose, posing a danger for new powered people like Calista Secor (Olesya Rulin) who takes the mantle of Retro Girl after her mentor’s death. The city is in wide panic as someone with a more dangerous power takes on the streets, endangering everyone both human and powered. There’s also a powers gang war taking place as two sides fight over control over the city.

We also see the debut of Tricia Helfer’s character FBI Special Agent Lange, who shares a history with Christian. We see some footage of the two of them clashing over the murder case as well as some sexual tension between them. Lange can be either an ally or enemy when it suits her goals. There’s also Enrico Colantoni and William Mapother joining the second season.
