Warner Bros. has unveiled the fourth and final movie trailer for Ready Player One (2018). The new trailer, entitled ‘Dreamer’, lays out the basic, simplified storyline from the book the film is based on. The trailer is almost entirely (85%) made up of new footage.

Ready Player One is already being received well to the select audiences that have seen the film. This trailer is filled with quotes from them.

Ready Player One‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Ernest Cline, “In the year 2044, reality is an ugly place. The only time teenage Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the virtual utopia known as the OASIS. Wade’s devoted his life to studying the puzzles hidden within this world’s digital confines–puzzles that are based on their creator’s obsession with the pop culture of decades past and that promise massive power and fortune to whoever can unlock them.

But when Wade stumbles upon the first clue, he finds himself beset by players willing to kill to take this ultimate prize. The race is on, and if Wade’s going to survive, he’ll have to win–and confront the real world he’s always been so desperate to escape.”

Steven Spielberg‘s Ready Player One stars Hannah John-Kamen, T.J. Miller, Ben Mendelsohn, Tye Sheridan, Simon Pegg, Mark Rylance, Olivia Cooke, Lena Waithe, Kae Alexander, Ralph Ineson, Julia Nickson, Letitia Wright, Armani Jackson, Kiera Bell, and Jacob Bertrand.

Ready Player One‘s screenplay was written by Ernest Cline, Zak Penn, and Eric Eason.
