Andrew Garfield Teases Sinister Six Involvement. With the Sinister Six (2016) being made, fans are wondering if Spider-Man will be making an appearance in the movie? Andrew Garfield hasn’t confirmed or denied his involvement in the villain team-up.

While promoting his film 99 Homes at the Toronto International Film Festival, Andrew Garfield spoke with the Toronto Sun about his possible participation in 2016’s Sinister Six. “I can say I’m really excited about Drew Goddard, who’s going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And whether I’m involved in that or not is kind of immaterial.”

So how can you make a film about the web-slinger’s villains without Spiderman himself? “I know more than I’m allowed to say right now,” Garfield said.

Well the next time we see Spiderman going solo again is in The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which was pushed back to 2018 after Sinister Six is released. Sinister Six will be directed by Drew Goddard, who previously directed the 2012 horror film Cabin in the Woods. Sinister Six won’t arrive till November 11, 2016 so fans will have to wait and see if Spiderman will be going head-to-head with the Sinister Six, which was teased during The Amazing Spiderman 2.
