Snowden Trailer. Oliver Stone‘s Snowden (2015) teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming film about Edward Snowden. The Snowden teaser trailer does not contain any footage from the film. What it does contain is an outline for the film: “Army Recruit at 20,” “Joined CIA at 22,” “NSA Contractor at 26,” “By Age 29 The Most Wanted Man in America.” The America flag is also shown upside down in the trailer, the international sign of distress. The song “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine” plays throughout the trailer.

Snowden‘s plot synopsis: based on the books The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man by Luke Harding and Time of the Octopus by Anatoly Kucherena, “Edward Joseph “Ed” Snowden (born June 21, 1983) is an American computer professional, former CIA employee, and government contractor who leaked classified information from the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013. The information revealed numerous global surveillance programs, many run by the NSA and the Five Eyes with the cooperation of telecommunication companies and European governments.”
