Star Wars Kids‘ Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures (2019) short films have been released. The shorts are entitled Jedi vs. Sith – The Skywalker Saga, and Darth Vader vs. the Rebel Fleet – Fearsome Fighter Pilot, Boba Fett – The Bounty Hunter, Luke vs. Jabba – Sail Barge Escape, Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader – Join Me, and Luke vs. Emperor Palpatine – Rise to Evil.

Plot Synopsis

Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures‘ plot synopsis: “Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is a series of animated shorts celebrating the characters and stories of a galaxy far, far away, featuring a bright and colorful art style, exciting action, and insight into the saga’s greatest themes!”

Thoughts

Lucasfilms and Disney have done a good job with these animated short films, bringing back the nostalgia that previous existed in the Star Wars live-action films. Jedi vs. Sith – The Skywalker Saga and Darth Vader vs. the Rebel Fleet – Fearsome Fighter Pilot are the best of the animated short films, with Darth Vader vs. the Rebel Fleet being the darkest. I really enjoyed that short film and wish the live-action films could summon that bleakness.
