STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (2015) Movie Poster 2: Rey Explores Jakku

Star Wars: The Force Awakens IMAX Poster Arrives

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Movie Poster 2 Released. As you may have noticed, there’s a new Star Wars movie being released this year. From everything we’ve seen thus far, it really seems like J.J. Abrams and co have pulled it off. The trailers look incredible, the blending of practical and computer-generated, the new cast meeting the old, the music soaring us back into our childhoods as the Millennium Falcon soars into outer space – we are going to cry tears of joy this December, I tell you.

Since a brand-new trailer for the film being released just hours ago isn’t enough, we’ve been treated to a new poster. This one is specifically promoting the IMAX release of the film – which is probably the way to go, regarding your movie-going experience come December.

You can take a look at the official IMAX blog to see if there’s a screening near you. Get yourself a ticket! Otherwise you may have to wait days, if not weeks to see this film in theaters. It sounds like I’m overreacting here, but this is a new Star Wars film, after all. And it doesn’t look like shit. It looks glorious.

Marco Margaritoff

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
