According to DC Comics lore, Lex Luthor has dealt with the Suicide Squad on some occasions but not as a member. It would make sense to bring Lex into the fold to help the Suicide Squad in some capacity.

This is the second casting rumor we have heard regarding the Suicide Squad film. Earlier, reports suggest that the David Ayer-directed film has been talking with Tom Hardy, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling for roles. The Task Force X may rumor to include Multiplex, Jaculi, Mindboggler, Captain Boomerang, Vixen, and Deadshot.
