2016 Emmys: Jimmy Kimmel Announced as Host

Jimmy Kimmel Emmys

Jimmy Kimmel will host the 2016 EmmysABC‘s 2016 Emmys will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel made the announcement via Twitter. Kimmel’s tweet read, “I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday Sept 18. Until then, have a great summer.”

It would seem that Kimmel believes this piece of news is all we need to hear from him regarding the 68th Emmys for the next five months. ABC’s entertainment president Channing Dungey, however, had more to say. “With Kimmel at the helm,” he promises, “expect to be at the edge of your seat for a bigger, bolder, and better-than-ever Emmy event.”
