ARROW: Josh Segarra Cast as Adrian Chase/The Vigilante [The CW]

Josh Segarra Vigilante Arrow

Josh Segarra to Play Adrian Chase on Fifth Season of Arrow. The vigilante roster continues to grow as new heroes step in for Team Arrow after their breakup. The latest addition is Josh Segarra, who will play district attorney and Oliver’s new ally Adrian Chase AKA The Vigilante.

Deadline reported that Josh Segarra has been cast as Adrian Chase, Star City’s new district attorney who replaces Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) after her demise. He will become a close ally to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) as he steps in as Mayor. Adrian’s aim is to clean the streets of Star City with the ways of the law, however it may prove difficult for the attorney. Perhaps we may see him suit up as The Vigilante during the new season?

Introduced in 1983, Chase donned the name Vigilante as a way to fight crime outside the law. At first, he uses non-lethal methods, but his mental health gets worse and soon becomes a killer. If Chase’s storyline ends up like the comics on the show, it could give Green Arrow a new dilemma to deal with in the upcoming fifth season. Chase will be a recurring character, but it doesn’t mean we may end up seeing too little of him.
