The theatrical movie box office results for December 9, 2022 through December 11, 2022 have been released.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was Number One at the box office for the fifth week in a row with $11.1 Million so far. Worldwide, the film has made over $767.8 Million.

Violent Night was Second over the weekend with $8.7 Million so far.

Strange World was Third with $3.6 Million so far.

The Menu was Fourth with $2.7 Million so far.

Devotion was Fifth with at the box office over the weekend with $2 Million.

These films: Black Adam, The Fabelmans, Met Opera: The Hours (which premiered this weekend), I Heard the Bells, and Spoiler Alert rounded out the top ten respectively.

Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway and made a household name by the Oscar-winning 2002 film version starring Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, and Nicole Kidman, the powerful story follows three women from different eras who each grapple with their inner demons and their roles in society.
