Firefly: The Complete Series on Blu-ray is on sale at Amazon for $27.99, 69% off the $89.99 suggested retail price. I believe this is one of Amazon’s special offers that only lasts a few days. If you have read our TV Shows That Deserved Better series, you know we have massive appreciation for the Firefly Television Show series. Each episode of the series the show got better and better. The mythos Joss Whedon created was great. What’s funny is that his best show gets canceled before it had aired all of its first season episodes yet his favorable get a full two season run. Great move Fox. Fans of Firefly have already caught wind of the sale as the blu-ray of the series has sky rocketed up the sales charts at Amazon. It was Number One when I began writing this post but it is currently Number Two. If you have not seen Firefly (Amazon has photos and clips available) and you are a fan of sci-fi, do yourself a tremendous favor and pick this up. If you are a fan of the series, you already know what you are getting but this time in high-definition video and sound.
