KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE (2015): Sequel in Development

A Sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service Being Developed. The Kingsman Agency lives another day as 20th Century Fox is developing a sequel to the worldwide box office hit Kingsman: The Secret Service. The film made over $401 million at the global box office.

TheWrap first gave news that the action spy comedy would be getting a sequel, but there hasn’t been any official announcement made about the film so far. It’s possible that director Matthew Vaughn may not return to direct the sequel as he would be busy on his next directorial venture, the Flash Gordon reboot. We can expect the main cast to return for the sequel if it gets made. Based on the comic book miniseries, there hasn’t been a second volume published yet so it’s interesting to see what kind of story the studio will come up with.

Kingsman: The Secret Service follows the story of a kid from the streets who gets recruited by a secret spy organization into a training program just as the agency tackles a new global threat from a rich eco-terrorist.
