Disney Developing Two New Zootopia Films
Disney is moving forward with two sequels to Zootopia. Cast member Tommy “Tiny” Lister had this to say about the sequels:
“I can tell you for sure I’m doing another Zootopia with Disney. We doing three of them. [There were] three Madagascars. We’re gonna replace that. We’re the biggest film that Disney is producing. The last one was $240 million. This one I’m hearing will be $300 million. That’s what they spent on the budget, not the advertising. But the movie made $2.6 billion, with merchandising and the box office.”

LOS ANGELES, February 4, 2019 – Y, the television adaption of the acclaimed post-apocalyptic science fiction comic book series Y: The Last Man, has been ordered to series at FX, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions.
All of the men are dead. But one. Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event has decimated every male save for one lone human. The new world order of women will explore gender, race, class and survival. Diane Lane stars in Y, leading an ensemble cast featuring Barry Keoghan, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield with Marin Ireland and Amiber Tamblyn.
“Y: The Last Man is a towering achievement among graphic novel storytelling and it’s been rewarding to work with this outstanding team,” said Grad. “Michael Green and Aïda Mashaka Croal have partnered with Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson to deliver a stunning new expression of this fascinating and timely story. Michael Green (American Gods, Blade Runner 2049, Logan) and Aïda Mashaka Croal (Luke Cage, Turn) serve as Showrunners and Executive Producers. Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson of Color Force (American Crime Story, Pose, Crazy Rich Asians) and Brian K. Vaughan are Executive Producers and developed the series. Melina Matsoukas (Insecure, Master of None, Beyoncé: Formation) is Director of the pilot episode and also serves as Executive Producer. Y is produced by FX Productions.
Y: The Last Man is a 60-issue science fiction comic book series published beginning in 2002. It received three Eisner Awards, and received the first Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story for Y: The Last Man, Volume 10.

Legion FX TV Series Ending After Season 3
Legion will be ending its run and conclude following the conclusion of Season 3. A three series arc was creator Noah Hawley‘s intention but FX is open to a continuation of storylines begun in Legion.
exec producer and Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb, speaking at TCA, said, “From Marvel’s point of view, Noah told us the end of the story when he told us the beginning of the story. These characters, some of which are part of the Marvel library, will live on. I think of it as if this is the end of this graphic novel. If Noah came back to us in a day or a year, we hope that FX would want to tell the next story.”
Series 3 will begin to air on FX in June of 2019.
The Walking Dead Renewed for Season 10 by AMC
The Walking Dead has been renewed for a tenth season by AMC. Season 10 will premiere in October 2019.
