See 5 IMAX Minutes of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION (2015)

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation International Trailer

See 5 Minutes of Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation in Imax by Buying Ticket to Terminator Genisys. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation‘s plot synopsis: “The new flick finds Hunt’s highly effective but destructive Impossible Mission Force (IMF) disbanded by vengeful Washington bureaucrats such as the CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his team together (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson) to battle the shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive leader (Sean Harris).”

Every once in a while, there’s some cool cross-promotional stuff going on inside our movie theatres. There are teases, sometimes even whole first scenes are screened, etc. I clearly remember doing my utmost not to watch the first scene of The Dark Knight because I knew I couldn’t contain myself afterward, needing to see the rest of the film. I love that they do these things, but I simply prefer to watch an entire film in one go, not separated by weeks, sometimes months’ time.

In any case, the latest promotional stunt to get you to see Terminator Genisys and Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation (although, I don’t think they need the hype – who isn’t seeing this as soon as possible?) is that you’ll be treated to five full minutes of the new Tom Cruise flick. Whoa! That’s like, a twentieth of a film!

The full press release from Paramount Pictures, for your pleasure:

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
